The Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, or Quiapo Church, continues in its tireless efforts to provide "recovery shelter" for the October 15, 2013 earthquake victims in Bohol through its Rehabilitation Housing Project.

An update report last May 24, 2014 by Engr. Victor G. Mallillin, MBBN's Physical Plant Administrator, showed that a total number of 18 semi-permanent housing units have already been sent to different areas in Loon, Bohol. Six units were sent in Antiquera, 2 units in Nahawan, 1 unit in Inabanga, 8 units in Pangangan and 1 unit in Quasi.In addition, 3 units were transported to Loon, Bohol and be utilized as Medical center.

Another update came May 28, 2014 bearing the Project Report of Rev. Fr. Joel A. Ruyeras, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Light Church, which listed the parish beneficiaries in Bohol.

It cited that Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish will receive 9 units; St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 2 units; Our Lady of Rosary Parish, 6 units: Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 11 units; St. Paul Parish, 1 unit; St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 2 units; and Our Lady of Light Parish, 3 units.

As of the moment, a sum total of 34 units of recovery shelters will be provided to our beneficiaries in the affected areas of Bohol.
