Quiapo Church has extended its help and assistance to dioceses affected by Typhoon Nona. Last December 21, Quiapo Church delivered 500 relief packs to Diocese of Malolos, Bulacan. The said relief packs contain 2 kilos of rice, 2 sardines, 4 noodles, ¼ kg. sugar, 2 corned beef, 1 coffee and 1 pack biscuit. Each pack also contains non-food items such as sanitary napkins, detergent bar and bath soap. The relief goods were delivered to Paombong, Bulacan and will be distributed to 3 towns affected by severe flooding.


On December 22, Quiapo Church in collaboration with CBCP NASSA and Caritas Manila has sent relief assistance to Diocese of Romblon. Five hundred relief goods and 100 pieces of tarpaulin from Caritas Manila were transported by CBCP NASSA to Romblon province. Typhoon Nona has brought its wrath to Romblon causing heavy flooding and damages to churches, houses and livelihood.
Quiapo Church will give also assistance to other dioceses through its relief and recovery efforts.
